CSR & Social Impact
Leadership beyond business.
The most respected organisations today understand that success is not only measured by revenue — but by the impact they create in the communities around them.

Where our interest lies
Atom Global's social impact work is not a department. It is a set of causes the people in this firm care about personally, and have done for years — and we bring the same coaching, leadership and culture craft to them that we bring to our commercial clients.
Five causes hold our attention: giving back to society, teaching, healthcare, animal welfare, and the girl child.
Giving back to society
Soil enriched by what returns to it.
We help organisations move beyond one-off donation days towards sustained community partnership — skills-based volunteering, pro bono leadership support for non-profits, and employee-led giving that people actually care about because they chose it.
Teaching & education
Every seed carries a forest.
Education is the most durable form of social mobility there is. We mentor students and first-generation professionals, run leadership and employability workshops in schools and colleges, and coach educators — because teaching the teachers multiplies further than anything else we do.
Healthcare & wellbeing
Tending what keeps a community alive.
Healthcare workers carry a load few professions match. We support clinical and hospital leaders with coaching, burnout-resilience work and team repair, and we partner on initiatives that widen access to care and mental health support in underserved communities.
Animal welfare
A canopy shelters more than one species.
How a society treats animals says a great deal about its capacity for empathy. We support shelters, rescue and rehoming organisations and conservation groups with volunteering, governance and leadership capability — the unglamorous back-office work that keeps small charities alive.
The girl child
Light reaching the smallest sapling.
Educate and mentor a girl, and the effect compounds across a family, a village and a generation. We back programmes that keep girls in school, fund and mentor young women into their first careers, and work with organisations to build the sponsorship — not just support — that carries them into leadership.
Why now
Gen Z did not invent social conscience — they made it non-negotiable.
The generation now entering and reshaping the workforce grew up with climate anxiety, visible inequality and a phone in their hand. They do not separate what a company sells from what a company stands for. For them, an employer's social record is not a nice-to-have on the careers page — it is part of the offer, and it is checked.
Purpose is a filter
Gen Z and younger millennials now make up the majority of the working world. They research a company's ethics before they apply, and they leave when values and behaviour diverge.
Authenticity is auditable
Performative CSR is spotted in a single scroll. A claim without evidence is worse than no claim at all — it converts goodwill into cynicism, internally first.
Contribution builds culture
The most engaged teams we work with are the ones who do something together that has nothing to do with revenue. Meaning is the cheapest retention strategy there is.
There is a hard-nosed case too. Purpose-driven organisations recruit faster, lose fewer people, and earn the benefit of the doubt from customers and regulators when something goes wrong. But the reason we do this work is simpler than the business case: it is the right use of the influence a company has.
How we help organisations
Through employee volunteering programmes, youth mentorship initiatives, leadership-for-good projects and community partnerships, we create opportunities for businesses to connect purpose with action — and we design them so they survive the next budget cycle.
This creates more than social value. It strengthens culture internally.
- Gives employees a sense of meaning
- Builds stronger connection across teams
- Increases engagement and discretionary effort
- Attracts and keeps purpose-driven talent
Because when companies give back, everyone grows.
